New Energy Innovative Silicone Dual-Glass Module

BYD's dual-glass module is the world's first silicone solar photovoltaic module certified by TÜV Rheinland. The module design has 7 core technologies and related patents, solving problems such as PID power attenuation and snail trails of modules, and achieving an advantage of longer service life (40 years) compared with conventional modules. The unique silicone encapsulation and double-layer glass design provide broader space for the module to be applied in more building structures and harsher operating environments. As the world's first manufacturer to use such a design for silicone dual-glass modules, BYD has accumulated production and shipment of 300MW of such dual-glass modules to some domestic provinces and cities, as well as countries and regions such as Japan, Israel and Brazil.
